Actor Naga Chaitanya has contributed to South cinema profoundly. The actor has also been in the headlines after his divorce from famous actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Recently he faced significant backlash after an old video resurfaced, revealing his admission of cheating in relationships. The clip depicts him casually discussing infidelity during promotions for one of his films. Chaitanya’s answer did not sit well with the netizens. They spared no time in bashing the actor online as the video is presumably from the time he was married to Samantha.

In the video, Chaitanya can be seen laughing as he confirms having two timed, stating, “Everyone should experience everything in life. That’s when you grow up and figure out, okay I’ve had all experiences, now it’s time to settle down.” The revelation sparked widespread criticism from netizens, with some expressing solidarity with Samantha.

“He got exactly what he deserved,” commented one user, while another remarked, “You could count on 1 hand the number of film personalities who haven’t had publicised instances of red flag behaviour.”

Chaitanya and Samantha, who exchanged vows in a fairytale wedding in 2017, announced their divorce in 2021 amidst reports of a strained relationship. Recent speculation surrounding Chaitanya’s romantic involvement with actress Sobhita Dhulipala has further fueled gossip, including claims of the pair vacationing together. Despite the rumours, Chaitanya has remained mum on the matter.

In the realm of his professional pursuits, Chaitanya is currently immersed in the filming of his upcoming project ‘Thandel,’ under the direction of Chandoo Mondeti. While no official announcement has been issued, reports suggest that Pooja Hedge is slated to co-star alongside Chaitanya in the film.
