Vikrant Massey is all set to take the lead in 12th Fail, his next film produced by filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra. This is a much-anticpated collaboration and even the actor recently shared his excitement for it. But what struck out was how Vikrant reacted during the first time he read the film’s script.

Vikrant Massey cried after reading 12th Fail script

Vikrant is known for his versatile acting skills that he has showcased amazingly over the years. He is quite excited now to be a part of a Vidhu Vinod Chopra production. In a recent interview, he mentioned that after reading the script of 12th Fail he was in tears.

Talking about the same, he says, “When I read the script for the first time, I cried so much for almost 15-20 minutes because i had never heard, watched or even knew of such an amazing story and I was really moved. And somewhere or the other I even saw myself in this story. So, a lot of things happened in Mr.Manoj’s life. He has had a wonderful (adbhut) life. Sometimes it’s unbelievable that inspite of so many hardships a man can bear with so much. Despite of so many struggles, he succeeded in life. He really inspired me.”

With Vikrant’s talent and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s track record, 12th Fail is certainly a film to watch out for. The project is already generating buzz in the film industry. And fans of both the actor and the filmmaker are eagerly awaiting its release. 12th Fail has a release date of October 27, 2023.

Vikrant to become a dad soon

On the personal front too, the actor is in a great phase. Vikrant Massey and wife Sheetal Thakur are expecting their first baby soon, and they made it official by announcing their pregnancy on social media. On September 24, the couple took to Instagram to share a picture from their wedding, along with a little cute inset of safety pins, indicating that they are pregnant. They are going to have their first kid next year as their picture had the text, ‘Baby coming 2024’.
