Known for entertaining us with his cop-universe franchise, Rohit Shetty is all set to mark his digital debut with Indian Police Force. The cop thriller stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. On the occasion of the Police Commemoration Day, makers of Sidharth Malhotra Starrer Indian Police Force have finally revealed the release date of seven-part action-packed series.

The series is touted to pay an ode to Indian Police Force patriotism, is set to premiere on 19 January 2024. It will release on OTT platform Amazon Prime.

For those unversed, the series was earlier slated to release on Diwali. But makers wanted to avert a clash with the ongoing World Cup and hence postponed the release. However, Bollywood Bubble had exclusively reported earlier this month that the series will release in January 2024.

Director-Producer Rohit Shetty said in a statement, “Indian Police Force is integral part of my journey as a creator in the cop-verse that I and my team at Rohit Shetty Picturez has built with years of hard work and commitment. I am very proud of my cast and crew who devotedly worked together to present this action series that pays an ode to the valor, sacrifice and courage of our Indian Police officers. I am delighted to collaborate with Prime Video for my first digital venture that promises to deliver an exhilarating entertainment to audiences worldwide.”

The series also stars Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi, Lalit Parimoo in pivotal roles. The eight-episode series is extensively shot in Hyderabad and Jaipur. Sidharth has often shared glimpse of the shoot. Looks like Rohit Shetty is leaving no stone unturned to make this a blockbuster thriller.
