The Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 17 premiered on 15th October. It was an absolute delight to watch the new season begin. Among many contestants entering the house, Anurag Dobhal is one of the contestants to enter. Yes, the rider is a part of the Salman Khan-hosted show. Before he joined the show, we had a chance to speak with Anurag Dobhal for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble.

Also known as The UK07 Rider, Anurag opened up about several deets including his inspiration to enter the house, his strategies, and most importantly, taking advice from ex-Bigg Boss contestants.

Anurag Dobhal reveals not taking advice from Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan

When asked if he has taken any advice from Bigg Boss OTT contestants Elvish Yadav and Abhishek Malhan, he said, “Agar ek problem 10 logon ke saame rakhi, toh wo 10 tareeke se react kar ke they will solve it. 10 agendas aa jayenge answer karne ke liye. So, what situations Elvish faced, what situations Fukra faced, wo unke liye respective thi.“

He added, “Agar mai unse jaake poochu, ke tu ne ye kara mai bhi wo hi karunga, toh wo cheez uske liye kaam kar sakti hai par mere liye nahi. So I never ask them ke kya karna hai kaise karna hai. (If you put up 10 problems in front of 10 people, they will have 10 ways to react and answer to it. So, Elvish and Fukra (Abhishek Malhan) faced their respective situations. If I go and ask him what he has done and the same thing I will do, it may work for him but not for me. So I never asked them what to do and what not to do)

Anurag on being inspired by Sidharth Shukla

Further, we also asked with whose journey of Bigg Boss’s contestants he is inspired by. To this, he said, “Sidharth Shukla was OG of the game. He was not Sidharth Shukla, he was being himself. Wo jo the, wo hi dikha rahe the. Isliye, mujhe wo idol lagte hai. Jo unka reactive element tha, he was taking a stand for it. So, I am really inspired by him and have followed him in the season. Ye apne jaisa tha. (He was what he was. So, I feel he is an idol for me. He took stands for his reactive elements. He was like us)

Anurag added, “Aane waale season me Sidharth Shukla bhai ko copy karna shuru kar dete the. That cannot be done. Agar mai Anurag Dobhal hu and if I want to be like him, mai kar hi nahi paounga because ye janta smart hai. They know ke kaun kis personality se belong karta hai, kaun kaisa behave karta hai. Sidharth Shukla was the person jo jaisa tha wo waisa dikh raha tha and isliye majority of the people love him and respect him.” (If I am Anurag Dobhal and if I want to be like him, I cannot do it because the audience is smart. They know who belongs to which personality, and who behaves in which way. Sidharth Shukla was the type of man who was what he was. So, the majority of the people love him and respect him.)

The Salman Khan-hosted show premiered on 15th October and the fun has just begun! Apart from Anurag Dobhal, Manasvi Mamgai, Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt-Aishwarya Sharma, Sunny Arya, Mannara Chopra, Firoza Khan, Munawar Faruqui, and others are also a part of Bigg Boss 17.
