Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Raniganj and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Thank You For Coming have witnessed a jump in day two collections at the box office. Mission Raniganj and Thank You For Coming released in the theatres on 6^th October, and had clashed at the box office. Both the films are receiving love from the audiences. So far, Akshay and Parineeti Chopra’s film is ahead in terms of numbers as compared to Bhumi and Shehnaaz Gill starrer Thank You For Coming.

Mission Raniganj collected Rs 2.8 Crores on its first day. As per Sacnilk.com, Akshay’s film earned over Rs 4.5 crores on Saturday. The film’s total collection stands at Rs 7.5 crores. Apart from Akshay and Parineeti, it also stars Kumud Mishra and Pavan Malhotra. The Tinu Desai directorial is based on the true life event of Jaswant Singh Gill, who led India’s first successful coal mine rescue mission in 1989.

The box office collections of Mission Raniganj –

Day 1: Rs 2.8 crores

Day 2: Rs 4.5 crores

Total: Rs 7.5 crores

Talking about Thank You For Coming, Bhumi Pednekar starrer collected Rs 1.06 crores on its first day. On Saturday, the film minted over Rs 1.56 crores. The Karan Boolani directorial’s total collection now stands at Rs 2.62 crores. Apart from Bhumi and Shehnaaz, the film also stars Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, and Shibani Bedi among others.

Day 1: Rs 1.06 crores

Day 2: Rs 1.56 crores

On the other hand, Bollywood Bubble gave Mission Raniganj 3.5 stars. A part of the review read, “Watch Mission Raniganj for Akshay Kumar’s heroic act and an inspiring story that will make your chest swell with pride.”

Bollywood Bubble gave Thank You For Coming 3.5 stars. A part of the review read, “Thank Your For Coming sheds light on the less-discussed concerns of women in India. The film’s purpose to serve as a feminist sex-positive comedy is fulfilled and also executed with fun.”
