Rohit Shetty took Hindi cinema to another level by introducing the first-of-a-kind cop universe with Ajay Devgn Starrer Singham. The filmmaker then gave two more cops with Ranveer Singh in Simmba and Akshay Kumar in Sooryavanshi. He is making the franchise bigger with Singham Again that features new entries. And now, we have exclusively learnt that it will also see the return of a character. Kareena Kapoor, who was a part of Singham Returns is now coming back for Singham Again.

Kareena Kapoor to shoot for Singham Again next month

Recently, Ajay, Ranveer and Rohit took Singham Again on floors with a muhurat. The trio shared the update through Instagram and Akshay also confirmed his return to the franchise. Now, Kareena will also be making her return and she will shoot for her part next month.

A source close to the development reveals, “Singham Again is getting bigger and bigger. The newest addition marks the return of a favourite, Kareena Kapoor. After Singham Returns, she is coming back for Singham Again and soon will start her shoot for it. The actress will be canning her part in Hyderabad next month, starting from the first week of October. Her shoot will continue till October 12. It is exciting to see her return with Ajay for the film.”

We also learnt that Akshay will be shooting for his part in the film next month too. Already, the film boasts a huge star cast with Ajay, Ranveer, Akshay, Kareena. Last year, Rohit had also announced that Deepika Padukone will be the first female cop of the universe. Her entry also happens with this film. There are reports of Tiger Shroff being the new cop in the universe as well. Then, there are reports of Arjun Kapoor being approached to play the villain. Singham Again has a release date of Independence Day 2024 on August 15.

The cop universe has expanded to the digital screens too. Sidharth Malhotra starrer Indian Police Force marks the actor and Rohit’s OTT debut. The series also features Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty as cops. This universe just keeps getting bigger and bigger.
