The film, released on 7 September, is continuing to roar and has miles to go. Jawan marks the first team-up of Atlee and King Khan. Needless to say, the two have rocked it and how!
Apart from King Khan, the film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and others in prominent roles. While we know that Jawan is huge, director Atlee has plans to take it up further ahead.
Atlee desires to take Jawan to the Oscars
Director Atlee has expressed his desire to take Jawan to the Oscars. Yes, you read that right! In an interview with ETimes, Atlee said, “Of course, even Jawan should go, if everything falls in place. I think every effort, everybody, every director, every technician who is working in cinema, their eyes are on the Golden Globes, Oscars, National Award, every award. So, definitely, yeah, I would also love to take Jawan to the Oscars. Let’s see. I think Khan sir will watch and read this interview. I will also ask him over a call, ‘Sir, should we take this film to the Oscars?”

Well, it would be a huge achievement if the desire comes true! Currently, Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan are on cloud nine as they are celebrating the massive success of Jawan. The film is produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment. Apart from this, the stunning music is delivered by Anirudh Ravichander.
