Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer Gadar 2 has entered its fifth week and it is still continuing to do good business at the box office. The movie has already crossed the 500 crore mark in the domestic markets and now Gadar 2 has managed to surpass an all-time blockbuster movie. Well, as you have read the headline, Gadar 2 has indeed beaten Prabhas and Anushka Shetty starrer Baahubali 2.

Gadar 2 beats Baahubali 2

According to Sacnilk.com, Gadar 2 earned Rs 1.45 crore nett in India on its 30th day, as per early estimates. In its first week. On its fifth Friday, the film earned Rs 90 lakh. Adding the latest collections, Gadar 2’s total collection stands at Rs 512.35 crore. With this, Gadar 2 has passed Baahubali 2 lifetime collections which was Rs 510.99 crore. Having said that, Sunny Deol starrer emerges as 2nd highest-grossing Hindi movie in India. Gadar 2 comes second in the list after Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan which earned Rs 524.62 crore.

Sunny Deol reaction to Gadar 2 box office collections

Earlier, during a press con, Sunny talked about the audience’s love for Gadar 2. He said, “I was quite stressed before the release of the movie. When the movie was released, I cried and laughed the entire night. My father was around and he saw me. I told him, ‘I have not had alcohol. Main khush aa main ki kara (I am happy, what can I do)’.“

As the movie is doing good business, Sunny Deol and the makers hosted a grand success party in the city. Several stars graced the event, making it a starry affair. After a long time, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan were seen under one roof. Other stars like Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and more were also seen attending it. Even Kartik Aaryan had a reunion with his co-stars Sara Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon.

Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 also stars Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, and Manish Wadhwa.
