Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Kalki 2898 AD is one of the highly-anticipated films next year. In July, the makers gave a glimpse of the upcoming sci-fi film. For the past few days ago, there have been rumours of Dulquer Salmaan making a cameo in the Nag Ashwin directorial. But, is he really a part of the film? Now, in a recent interview, Dulquer hinted at his cameo in Prabhas and Deepika starrer.

Dulquer talks about his rumoured cameo in Kalki 2898 AD

Dulquer Salmaan, who is is currently busy promoting his upcoming film King of Kotha, told a news portal, “I can’t reveal anything about Project K, but I visited the set and was blown away.”

The actor further added, “I thought only Nag Ashwin could think like that. He is the director who surprises you. And the sets were so interesting and it was all in his inspiration.” He did not reveal any details about the film.

Well, if the reports turn out to be true then we’re sure Dulquer’s fans will be happy.

On the other hand, Kalki was earlier titled Project K. It is directed by Nag Ashwin. It stars Prabhas, Deepika, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. The first glimpse was enough to raise excitement among fans. This is the first time Prabhas and Deepika are sharing screen space together. The duo’s fans are beyond excited. The Nag Ashwin directorial is slated to release on 12^th January, 2024.

Coming back to Dulquer, he has King of Kotha. The actor will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar. The Abhilash Joshiy directorial is slated to release on 24^th August, 2023. At a recent event, Dulquer had addressed reports of King of Kotha being compared to Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise.

On the other hand, Dulquer recently delivered a terrific performance in Raj & DK’s web series Guns & Gulaabs co-starring RajKummar Rao and Gulshan Devaiah. Guns & Gulaabs released on 18^th August on Netflix.
