Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh sharma has taken Box Office by storm. The movie has lured audience to the theatres effortlessly. Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and audiences has eagerly waited to see their favourite stars reprise their roles. The opening day box office collection of Gadar 2 was Rs. 40.10 crores and that’s a testament to the fan base of Sunny Paaji and the film.

Gadar 2 had a thunderous opening at the box office and collecting 40.10 crores only domestically. Now, we just heard that the film has yet again managed to stay strong on it’s Day 2 of the release. The box office collection of the Sunny Deol starrer is still around or more than Rs. 40 crores. Which means in just 2 days of the release the film has minted over Rs. 80 crores. There’s a high chance that by the end of this week, the movie would have entered the 100 crore club.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer OMG 2 hit theatres on the same day. As the whole of industry and fans were waiting to see who would emerge as successful in this box office battle, looks like Gadar 2 is leading the game.

Sunny Paaji’s fans are elated to see him back on screen. On the other hand, one main point which has enticed his fans that the storyline of the sequel continues from where it stopped as a 22 year leap. It also has the essence of nostalgia which is helps us to connect to the film just like before.

Directed by Anil Sharma, the Gadar 2 is showing potential of break-records and we can’t wait to see what the official numbers have to say on Day 2.
