The Jubliee star expressed her happiness about working on her first commercial Hindi film. She shared, “I’m thrilled and grateful to be a part of this film. Atlee is someone known for his crazy commercial films that he makes with so much passion. And this one is backed by Murab (Khetani) bhai, who has that eye for typical masala potboilers. All this makes it such a special project, and I’m really excited about this collaboration.”
The actress is full of praise for her co-stars Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh. She exclaimed, “The opportunity to work alongside (actors) Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh and sharing screen space with them is definitely something I’m looking forward to, and that makes this project even more special.” Talking about her co-star Varun, she continues, “Varun seems like a ball of energy and that’s my vibe, too. He’s doing a range of films where he has done a variety of characters, so I’m hoping we get to learn something from each other as artistes.”

Meanwhile, VD 18 will be produced by the Jawan director Atlee and his wife Priya Mohan’s banner A For Apple Studios. The project is also backed by Murad Khetani’s Cinel Studios, and it will be directed by Kalees. The much-anticipated film is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 31, 2024.
