Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is doing exceptionally well at the box office. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer has already the 100 crore mark at the box office and it is still growing. Seeing the latest trends, filmmaker Karan Johar is now content and relieved. On Monday, he took to his Instagram account and dropped a long emo post while expressing gratitude to each one of them who worked in the movie. From Ranveer and Alia to the technicians, Karan thanked them from the bottom of his heart.

In his long post, Johar revealed that he felt he needed an IV drip and was near collapsing prior to the release. Starting a warning, he says it is going to be a ‘long emo post.’ “Prior to the release of this film, I felt that at any point of time, I would need an IV drip and was near collapse. The question I asked myself was – Is it the long 7 year gap? Or the anxiety built over the last 3 years. Or the fact that we live in an ambiguous box office time. Whatever the real reason is – I was a bonafide mess. But the Friday, 28th of July, I felt nothing but gratitude, validation and sheer joy. This film is truly a product of team energy & love,” KJo started his note.

He also thanked his leads – Ranveer and Rani. “To Rocky & Rani, I have a separate love letter I want to write to you but I want to say you’re the most indispensable part of this prem kahaani. Both of you, not only made the film what it is but also gave me so much energy from the love you gave me. I love you both to the moon and back and I hope and pray that I get to work with you soon again.” KJo wrote.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is doing at the domestic markets as well as globally. The movie has collected over Rs 210 crores at the worldwide box office.
