Genelia Dsouza is back with another light-hearted comedy movie Trial Period. The upcoming movie also stars Manav Kaul and Gajraj Rao bringing the perfect blend together. The actress plays the role of a single mother whose son demands a father on a trial period of 30 days. The makers dropped the trailer of the movie and it brings a different concept of a story to the table.

The trailer begins with Genelia aka Ana’s son watching a teleshopping advertisement on TV which talks about a 30-day trial period for a product. If the customer isn’t satisfied, they could return it. This sparks an idea in the kid’s mind who requests his mother to get a father on trial period. Bending on her son’s needs she goes to a job placement agency where she asks Gajraj Rao for a father. That’s when Manav Kaul portraying Prajapati Dwivedi from Ujjain as seemingly looking for a job enters the picture. Further, it shows the hilarious situations that go down with Ana, her son and her family as the so-called father tries to fit in.

The movie looks like a complete family entertainer with light-hearted comedy and funny situations when a young child makes unconventional demands. It also conveys the longing of a father from a young child. Will Manav manage to be part of the family? Only time will tell. The trailer only showed a few sad moments and apart from that it only gives great vibes.

Directed by Aleya Sen, Trial Period child actor Zidane Braz and Genelia Dsouza as the mother-son duo. Apart from them, Manav Kaul and Gajraj Rao play pivotal roles. In addition, it also features Shakti Kapoor and Sheeba Chaddha. Trial period will premiere on Jio Cinema on July 21.
