Adipurush makers have been summoned by Allahabad High Court’s Kucknow Bench. The film director Om Raut, producer Bhushan Kumar and dilaogue writer Manoj Muntashir have been ordered to give personal appearance. They have been asked to come along with personal affidavits which illustrates the bonafide conduct.

The Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry is directed by the division bench of Justice Rajesh Singh Chauhan and Justice Shree Prakash Singh to create an expert five-member committee. This creation of the five member committee is to be done within seven days of the court’s order.

The reason to set up the expert committee of five member bench is to analyse the film. It is also been set up to examine whether or not the depiction of Hindu Gods Ram, Sita, Hanuman and Raavan conforms to Valmiki’s Ramayana. Speaking of the expert committee members, the court has said that two members must thoroughly know Valmiki’s Ramayan in order to examine the film.

On June 28, two PILs seeking a ban on Prabhas starrer Adipurush were heard by the court. Following this, on Friday, the same order was put up on the court’s website. The court has observed that Adipurush has depicted the Hindu religious idols in shameful manner. This is why the audience’s emotions have been hurt and the film received a massive backlash.

Speaking of the film, it was one of the most anticipated film of the year.

Prabhas as Lord Ram, Kriti Sanon as Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshman and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, added to the already building anticipation. However, post the film’s release, it began receiving harsh comments and negative reviews. The film had a good start at the box office and went well for a few days. However, after that, it started witnessing a downfall at the box office.
