But looks like, there won’t be a third part coming out, as confirmed by actor Manoj Bajayee.

The Gulmohar actor spoke about the news in an interview with a media house where he said, “Gangs of Wasseypur is not happening. Anurag has told me in many words. That is something that people have to come to terms with”.
Manoj on love from fans for Sardar Khan
The actor who played the role of Sardar Khan in the film appreciates the love the film still gets and loves the memes that are still being made about this character. In his words, “People are still pouring so much love on Sardar Khan and they are making memes all the time. I feel overwhelmed but at the same time, some memes are quite embarrassing.”
Manoj also said that though the third part of the franchise is not coming out, he is still happy he could be a part of a film like this. “The Gangs of Wasseypur that I have been part of has become a cult. I am so lucky to be part of 3-5 cult films in my career. Gangs of Wasseypur is one.
The film, Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and Gangs of Wassepypur 2 helmed by Anurag Kashyap has stars like Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi in pivotal role. The second part holds more of a cult status. The film proved to be a push that stars like Pankaj Tripathi, Rajkummar Rao and many more.
The upcoming film Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai on Zee 5 will feature Manoj Bajpayee. In the movie, he’ll play a lawyer. Recently, the movie’s trailer was published, and it was well-received by critics. Fans anticipate this gripping courtroom drama.
