Ahan Shetty, son of actor Suniel Shetty, made his big Bollywood debut with the romantic action-drama ‘Tadap’ directed by Milan Luthria. He shared screen space with Tara Sutaria in the film. Ahan gave an impressive debut performance in Tadap and fans loved his chemistry with Tara.

This year, Ahan received his first award for his performance in Tadap at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in the Best Debut Male Category. After his big win, Bollywood Bubble got in touch with the actor and he was asked about his parents Suniel and Mana Shetty’s reaction to the win.

Ahan told us, “My dad was actually standing right next to me and I could see he was already teary-eyed and before when my name was called, my mom was kinda just squeezed me. She was happy. They were very happy. I hope I made them proud.”

During the interaction, Ahan was also asked if he’s more like his father or his mother. The actor smiled as he said, “I think I am more like my mom and Athiya’s more like my dad.”

The actor also revealed that he has few things coming up. “There are few things in the pipeline. I definitely do want to continue doing action but I do wanna explore other roles. Performance is a very important aspect of being an actor obviously... so I definitely do want to experiment,” said Ahan.

Ahan also shared that he wants to work with Ranbir Kapoor. He said, “I would love to do something with him.” He called Shahid Kapoor a ‘fantastic actor’. Ahan also revealed the actresses he wants to work with.
