Dustin Ferguson, who has brought us Cocaine Cougar, Big Freaking Snake, and Ebola Rex, is back with another Mega movie. This one is Mega Ape and stars the talented Bai Ling and the late Tom Sizemore.

The film is about a team of animal rights activists who unknowingly release a genetically engineered ape from a top-secret research facility. He soon grows to an enormous size and embarks on a rampage of total destruction in Hollywood.

And as someone who lives on the other side of the hill, I am happy they are keeping it in Hollywood.

And on that note. I am thrilled that Hollywood is doing more creature features like this. Because who doesn’t love seeing a city being destroyed by a Mega Ape? That is why we can never get enough of King Kong.
