All Of Me – As this episode of The Cleaning Lady begins, Fiona (Martha Millan) takes a shower and talks about how it feels like there’s nothing left. When she gets out of the shower, Thony (Elodie Yung) takes care of her wounds. She knows what Thony had to do most of her life. Only this time, Fiona almost lost her son. Luca begins yelling so Thony rushes to check on him. Luca doesn’t want Susan to take him again. Thony insists Susan will only talk to him tomorrow. Next, Thony admits to Fiona it’s hard to tell Luca everything will be okay when she isn’t sure herself. Fiona says she did what she had to do to get them back home without Armand. Thony reveals they found the van that took him and a drug called Devil’s Breath was inside.

Jorge Sanchez (Santiago Cabrera) tries to find out more about the drug. He confronts a man and asks if he sold a certain guy Devil’s Breath. The dealer explains that the man’s name is Dragan and he can be found at the construction site off the 215. Jorge confronts Dragan and asks him about Armand. They beat him up to try to get answers from him. JD (Ryan Sands) comforts Fiona. He wonders if things would’ve been different if he had done things differently back then. JD says it only matters that she’s home and he isn’t going to lose her again. He invites Fiona to move in with him. Fiona leaves to check on Thony before Luca’s interview. She speaks to her in the kitchen. Jorge calls Thony to say the lead panned out, but there was a mishap. Dante will be there soon. Thony tells Fiona she’ll be back before Susan arrives.

She tells JD her business with these people is almost done. Ramona (Kate del Castillo) complains about Jorge taking the man hostage. Jorge promises that he covered his tracks. Ramona claims they’ll think he’s trying to get Armand out without paying and that could get him killed. When Thony arrives, she claims the guy is the one who took Armand. Dante killed him because he thought he could handle more than he could. Ramona believes they can get Armando back another way. They heard from his captors and they’ll set up the exchange once they get the funds for his release. Thony argues that they’ll take the money and run. Ramona makes it clear that she shouldn’t question her. She tells her to start cleaning, but Thony leaves because she needs to get home to her son.

Chris (Sean Lew) hangs out with Jaz (Faith Bryant) at home. They talk about Chris’s father. Thony panics at home when she can’t find Luca. Chris claims he was there an hour ago. Everyone starts looking for Luca. They question whether someone took him. Thony says she’ll check the neighborhood. They split up and begin looking for him. Jorge is busy with business. Thony calls him to say he has to call Ramona because her son is missing. Jorge says his sister had no reason to take Luca. He recommends doing whatever she can to find her kid although he’ll ask Ramona. When Susan Redman (Rekha Sharma) arrives, Thony has to tell her that Luca isn’t back yet. Susan agrees to check the house for a safety report while she waits. Chris and Jaz don’t have any luck trying to track down Luca.

Chris thinks they should split so he rides away without Jaz. Thony tries to keep Susan busy while they wait. She shows Susan Luca’s medications. Fiona and JD return. Fiona says she dropped off Luca at the arcade with the kids. Susan becomes suspicious. JD admits they last saw Luca about three hours ago. He reveals there was a man outside the house this morning in a black BMW. He got the plate. Susan is going to trigger an AMBER alert. Once she leaves, Thony complains about JD doing that although he thinks he did the right thing. She leaves to find Luca so they can call this off. Jorge tells Ramona he worked things out with Nadia’s claim. Jorge doesn’t know why they’re paying the ransom when they don’t know if Armand is still alive. She mentions something about being gone, but Jorge insists she isn’t going anywhere.

After Violeta interrupts, Jorge tells Ramona there is something else he needs. He asks about Thony’s son. Ramona denies having anything to do with it. She tells him to get Nadia’s cash because they’ll have to move fast. Ramona sees the AMBER alert on her phone. Dante is stopped by police and detained. Fiona tries to get Thony to tell her the truth about what is going on. Thony admits they’re cartel. She goes on to say Armand’s family is part of the Sin Cara Cartel. Susan calls Thony to say the police picked up the man JD reported and he didn’t have Luca. Jaz gets upset at Chris and tells him to leave her alone. She complains that he just took off to Manila. Jaz questions what she was supposed to do without him and mom. Chris apologizes. Thony admits getting Dante arrested is bad, but she needs to focus on finding Luca.

Thony gets news from Chris who hasn’t found anything. She thinks of something and believes she might know where Luca is. They go to the aquarium to look for him. Thony finds him looking at the turtles. Luca says he doesn’t want the lady to take him. Thony comforts him. She calls Susan to say they have Luca and she can cancel the AMBER alert. Susan admits it’s bad that Thony didn’t know where her son was. She’ll see Thony at the hearing tomorrow. At home, Thony complains CPS is going to use the whole AMBER alert against her. She worries Dante’s arrest will cause problems as well. JD knows someone at the station they can talk to. Thony goes there to see if she can find out why Dante was arrested. She thinks they should drop the charges, but there’s nothing she can do about it.

Thony visits Jorge to say there are ways to fix this. She suggests he can make it like the AMBER alert never happened. Thony pleads with him to help. Jorge tells her to use that when speaking to the judge tomorrow. At home, Thony says she has to pack a bag in case Luca doesn’t come home tomorrow. There is no chance she’ll let him go. The next day, Thony goes into the courtroom without Luca. Fiona and the others speak in Thony’s defense. The judge is told about Thony administering an unauthorized drug to her son. Jorge arrives moments later. It is confirmed that the AMBER alert has been stricken from the record. Jorge tells the judge that the AMBER alert was made in error. The judge tells Jorge she doesn’t appreciate circus acts in her courtroom.

The judge says the question of abuse remains. Thony stands up to speak on her behalf. She explains why she gave Luca the unauthorized drug. The judge rules that Luca will remain in Thony’s custody at this time, but he will remain under CPS supervision. Thony tells her son outside while Jorge watches. He goes home where Ramona is having a painting hung. Jorge tells her he took care of Dante’s arrest. She reminds him that Dante was their only point of contact for Armand’s exchange. Since he was arrested, he missed the call to get Armand back. Jorge thinks they should stop surrendering to their every demand. Ramona believes Thony has a hold on Jorge. She wants Thony to stay away from anything to do with Armando because it could cost him his life. Thony sees a car pull up outside while she’s with Luca.

She goes outside to thank Jorge who says they have bigger problems. He tells her about Dante and how his arrest stopped them from making the exchange. Jorge says she has to stay out of their way to avoid jeopardizing everything including her son. He can’t prevent Ramona from taking Luca.

The Cleaning Lady Review

This episode of The Cleaning Lady was pretty much all about Thony attempting to avoid losing Luca. The risk of that was slim so that aspect of the story was not as effective as it could’ve been. Other aspects of the episode were a bit silly, especially Jorge’s power and Thony trotting down to the police station to ask an officer to drop the charge against Dante.

Many parts of the story are very unrealistic so viewers will have to bend reality to accept what is going on here. Viewers who have become emotionally invested in the story will probably like the episode for some of the emotional scenes. Truthfully though, this was a bit of a filler episode since there was little to no risk that Luca would be taken away from Thony.

It was an easy watch though and required little effort so that’s something. The episode scores a 5 out of 10. Recaps of The Cleaning Lady can be found on Reel Mockery here.
