When she says it’ll match his tie, he reminds her that today is a happy day. She agrees as Harold Bishop (Ian Smith) greets them from the kitchen table with a Photo Album in hand. Karl asks how he slept. When he claims he always sleeps well on Ramsay Street, Susan suspiciously asks him about the 3:00 a.m. wake-up call. He admits he did hear someone coming in before he mentioned updating the photo album titled –”The History Of Ramsay Street.” All attention is drawn to Holly Hoyland (Lucinda Armstrong) as she rushes out the door with a quick goodbye on her way to work.

Melanie says the groom being married six times doesn’t help. She finds a necklace for Terese Willis’s (Rebekah Elmaloglou) “something borrowed.” Toadie swears he will never forget how happy he was on their wedding day.

At home, Terese mends her wedding dress when Susan gives her “something bubbly.” Daniel Clohesy (Thomas Blackburne) and Imogene Willis (Ariel Kaplan) inform them that Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel) can’t make the wedding, even though, they found her a last-minute flight. Noticing Susan’s bottle of bubbly, Daniel offers to pop the cork. Terese claims Piper has always had doubts about her relationship. Susan and Imogene assure her that she has their full support.

Neighbours Series Review

This was my first foray into An Australian soap and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Don’t get me wrong, it was pretty awful, but there was an incredible amount of intrigue and suspense. I was not suspecting Terese to be marrying Toadie. The whole episode spun it like she was marrying Paul. There is obviously something going on there. The mystery behind Reece is also intriguing and learning what Mike has planned for Jane is stirring. All in all, a much different experience and the short episodes with the oversaturated cast make all the content seem important. I would give the show a 5 out of 10.
