The show begins with Becky “Sasha” Green (Erin Doherty) looking at images of her and Chloe Fairbourne (Poppy Gilbert). She places the images in a box before stuffing it into her bag. She places some of her things in a cardboard box labeled “charity” and others in a suitcase. She has a flashback of her and her mum, Pam Green (Lisa Palfrey) walking along the beach. She stops to look at the empty apartment before visiting Pam.

Becky helps Pam fill out her meal plan. While Pam leaves the room, Becky stores the box, with her and Chloe’s images in a closet. She compliments the garden. Pam reminds her, she has never been one to follow through with things. As Becky leaves, she runs into Christine (Estella Daniels) who has just stopped by to check in on Pam. Becky spies on Pam and Christine. Pam tells her that Becky could not leave fast enough. Christine removes the box of images from Pam’s closet. Pam says Becky has a fancy man, which won’t last too long.

Becky approaches a lady at the front desk, identifying herself as Sasha Green. She informs the lady Christine has been asked to not visit Pam because she upsets her. The lady agrees to prohibit Christine from visiting Pam in the future.

Becky arrives at Elliot’s, with her suitcase. He answers the door, saying can I help you. They both laugh. He promises her she will never need to knock on the door again, giving her the key. She unlocks the door and walks in, where Elliot (Billy Howle) is waiting. He admits to being excited about her moving in. As he escorts her to the cupboard, where she can store her belongings, she reminds him that her stay is not permanent. As he goes for coffee, she pulls Chloe’s appointment book out of her bag. She takes it back to where she got it from.

Livia (Pippa Bennett-Warner) speaks to someone on the phone about her daughter’s picture being posted on a website. Becky receives an overlimit alert from ZRBC Bank. Livia tells Becky she has to visit Noah’s school because he isn’t doing well. She asks her if she minds putting the finishing touches on Phil’s (Alexander Eliot) art exhibition. Becky asks if she has paid her invoice. She utilizes a backflow issue for the holdup. Becky asks for the caterer’s list. She jots down the password to her computer. Becky takes a seat in front of Livia’s laptop to see an image of her and Phil and Chloe and Elliot. She inputs the password, and a list of names pops up on the screen. Instead of clicking on Chloe’s name, she exits.

Becky meets Josh to discuss Phil’s upcoming art exhibition. He says so, this is how we are going to do this. She says I have been busy. He knows about her working for Livia and wants to know if she is back with Elliot. She asks if he is going to be a problem. He tells her to do whatever with the space before walking away.

Becky pours her and Elliot a glass of wine when her phone rings. Reynold’s Debt Collection alerts her of a €5000 debt for Pam Green. Elliot approaches, reminding her of what he said about her getting drunk without him. When the phone rings, she ignores it. He asks if everything is okay. She tells him about Livia not paying her invoice, which she claims is a cash flow issue. He responds, “That is so typical of Livia.” When he offers to pay her bills, he tells her to input her information into his phone. She promises to pay him back. They start making out when Becky stops to shut the curtains. He hesitates, saying she always liked the curtains opened, so she could look out. She suggests they close them then. He says wait, I like them closed. When she closed the curtains, he got the urge to look behind him to see if she was there. She asks if her being there is too much for him. He wants her to be with him. They make out.

Becky sees a figure in a cloud of fog before jerking awake. When she walks downstairs, she realizes Tiggy (Phoebe Nicholls) is visiting. Tiggy claims to not remember Sasha when he introduces them. He then introduces her to his sister. Tiggy doubts Sasha will go with him to Chloe’s gravesite for the headstone placement. She describes Chloe as the “daughter she never had,” which gets a shocking response from Elliot’s sister. She= apologizes about Tiggy. They laugh when Becky tells her about putting Pam in a facility.

Becky listens to a podcast. She opens a book lying on the table to find a card that reads, “You’re my world and you know it,” signed C. A loud noise grabs her attention. She walks in the direction of the banging to a room, where a window is flapping. She spots a small building off the off from the window. Chloe’s clothes are stored in a portable wardrobe closet. She unzips the cover to get a better look. One of the clothes racks is empty. A flashback of Chloe on the cliffs briefly pops up on the screen. As she removes a dress from the rack, she has a flashback of Chloe, with a lady at a bar.

Wearing the dress, she puts on lipstick and perfume. She looks in the mirror to see Chloe. A flashback of teenage Becky (Eloise Thomas) and teenage Chloe (Gia Hunter) frolicking in the water appears on the screen. She removes the dress and lipstick.

Chloe in a cloud of fog wakes Becky. A distraught Elliot is staring at her. She apologizes about his mum’s behavior. He wants her to leave him alone, so he can live his life. They agree to forget about Tiggy. When he saw Chloe’s tombstone, he realizes she was buried there. She suggests her being there is a bit too much. All he could think of is returning home to her. He thinks she should stay with him, not move out. She says Livia would have to know. He agrees, suggesting they do it tomorrow at Phil’s art exhibition.

She removes her clothes while standing in front of a window. As they lay in bed, Elliot professes his love for her. She loves him too. Becky goes to the kitchen for a snack when she discovers the card from the book lying on the table. She angrily rips it into pieces and jerks the curtain shut.

Becky and Elliot get dressed for Phil’s art exhibition. He asks who should tell Livia about them living together. She accepts the responsibility. She asks him should I leave my hair up or down. When he says down, she has a flashback of Chloe, with her hair down. He walks over to remove her hair band, letting her hair fall over her shoulders.

Livia is concerned about the “big dicks” on the RSVP list. She insults Phil by calling his Livia artistic work “shit art.” Becky tries to assure him they will be fighting over his art. They enter a room filled with paintings of Chloe. Becky tells Phil it is beautiful. Livia says she warned Phil before walking away. Becky imagines she sees Chloe in the crowd. She approaches Georgia Cowan (Laura Regan) who is looking at one of Phil’s paintings. Georgia puts in a bid for the painting as Livia and Becky watch. Livia tells Becky rich women love artists when she sees a lady talking to Phil. She says many of the women would willingly remove their clothes, lay on a mattress, and tell Phil their secrets.

Tiggy approaches to insult Becky by calling her clever. She is shocked Livia trusts Becky so much. Josh arrives with a female. Becky walks over the Elliot just in time for the photographer to snap a picture. She utilizes her hand to cover her face. He introduces her to Richard’s father. After walking away, she grabs a beverage. She glances over to see Josh and his date. She pretends to be looking at Phil’s painting as she continues to spy on Josh. He approaches, asking what she is doing. He tells her they are okay and to be careful as they touch hands. He says, “Bye, Becky Green.”

Becky stares at Chloe’s painting as Tiggy approaches. Tiggy says she wishes Becky could have met Chloe she was so beautiful. She wonders what Chloe would have thought of Becky. Livia approaches with a beverage. She says some women would be concerned about their husbands devoting a gallery to their best friend. Becky assures her Phil loves her. Livia is unhappy with Becky and Elliot being together. She says you should have before walking away to be with Phil, Elliot, and Anish (Akshay Khanna). Elliot puts a bid in for one of Chloe’s paintings. He says it belongs with him.

Elliot starts a conversation about Chloe calling Becky Green the night she died. Josh approaches as they talk about Chloe being out of touch with Becky. Livia says Becky and Chloe didn’t go to school together. Chloe was a magnet to people like Becky. They remember when Becky showed up without warning to Chloe’s 17th birthday bash. Richard urinated in his beer and threw it at Becky. Josh walks away when Livia says she is going to Google Becky. Elliot approaches Becky to ask if she is okay. She says I need some air. She imagines everyone is saying her name. Livia walks past without speaking to her. She goes outside before realizing she doesn’t have her car keys. She climbs into the back of her car and pounds on the steering wheel.

A flashback of her spitting in Pam’s face when she says a mother has to stick around no matter what. Becky pleads with Chloe to stay, but she refuses. She searches for Chloe near the pier. She looks at her phone to see that Elliot contacted her 10 times. She returns to the exhibition to get her bag. As she leaves, Phil offers her a drink. They set in Chloe’s gallery. He alerts her of Elliot trying to reach her. Everywhere she goes, she is always there. She promises to leave them alone before telling him her theory about Richard and Chloe having an affair. He denies the allegations because Chloe understood Richard. Becky questions why Chloe took her own life.

He saw Chloe before she left the event. She looked scared, which he believes is because she knew what was going to happen. Becky asks after Livia. Livia left Phil’s art exhibition with a man. He tells her to not fret because she always returns. Livia is shocked, saying she didn’t know. He asks, how could you have known.

In her car, Becky clicks on Chloe’s image that was sent from the Central Grand Hotel in Bristol. She researches the hotel staff. Stuart Haltby (Ashleigh Reynolds) who works security is the last name on the list. She arrives at the hotel to find Stuart behind the desk. She identifies herself as Sally Griffiths from a security company. He claims to know nothing of her talk with Jerome (Scott Rose-Marsh). She asks for the surveillance footage on April 11th at 7:25pm. Jerome generally deletes surveillance footage after 30 days. Stuart turns the computer screen toward her. Chloe enters the hotel with Livia. When they approach the guest desk, Chloe removes her coat. He shows her footage from a different camera, where Chloe is sitting alone. When she leaves, Anish, Livia, and Phil follow her. They are standing at the hotel entrance when something disturbs her. She rushes out the door without her coat.

As a man approaches to ask Stuart who she is, she says I just need to grab my coat. She retrieves a coat and pink box from the storage. She successfully reaches her car, where she discovers a paper wad in the pocket of the coat. The box is filled with cash. Elliot is frantic when she answers her phone. She claims Chloe’s parents stressed her out. He explains how frantic he is after already losing Chloe. He pleads with her to not do anything. An identification card, with Chloe’s picture and a key are inside the box.

Becky wakes up to a phone call from Becky. Chloe pleads with her to help her. She says they are coming. Distraught, Becky drives away from the hotel as the episode comes to an end.

Chloe Review

We are another episode closer to find out what really happened Chloe. The main cast gave an amazing performance, with Erin Doherty in the lead. Maybe I am wrong, but I feel someone contributed to Chloe’s death.

Each new revelation is validation that each of the main cast has inner demons. They point the finger at Becky Green while ignoring their own faults.

The episode deserves a 7. Get more Chloe recaps here. Learn how to support ReelMockery by clicking the link.
