With a decent buzz around the sequel, the movie Bunty Aur Babli 2 finally hit the screens. The movie at the box office, however, gave a moderate business. The movie with an ensemble star cast with actors like Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Sharvari Wagh, Pankaj Tripathi and Siddhant Chaturvedi hit the screens this Friday. Although it was a solo film, it did face some sort of competition from the Akshay Kumar cop drama, which is already running at a decent rate. The movie is all set to enter the 200 Crore Club.

As per reports, the sequel seemed to have collected around 2.75 crore nett with the numbers also benefiting from the Guru Nanak Jayanti holiday in the North. The report stated that the film’s collections remained affected on the 1st Saturday and got a lift on Sunday as well. The trade pundits like Taran Adarsh shared the insight about the collection about the sequel, how about checking his tweet as under:

The second day remained dull on the second and even on the third day as well. As per reports, the first weekend Box Office Collection for Bunty Aur Babli 2 went to around INR 8.2 Crores. The audience disliked the changes taking place in the second installment of BaB since Junior Bachchan was replaced by Saif Ali Khan. Thanks to the fallout with the makers of the film, Abhishek rejected the role offered to him, which eventually brought Saif Ali Khan in the film.
