Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrate Diwali by performing Lakshmi Pooja- See Photos

People may leave their country but they never forget their roots. And as we all know Diwali is the festival of love and light. Priyanka Chopra is making all of us proud internationally, though she has moved out with her husband, singer Nick Jonas she still hasn’t forgotten her Indian roots. The diva celebrated Diwali with Nick with all Indian customs and traditions. The actress never leaves a chance to keep her traditional values alive. 

As per the tradition, they performed Mahalakshmi Pooja. Priyanka took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of pictures, where we can see the couple performing the rituals. By looking at the picture, we can totally see that how Nick loves Indian culture. 

Looking at the photos fans took to the comment section to wish them.

Priyanka chose a yellow sari while Nick wore a white color kurta pajama, both looked stunning in the pictures. Sharing the pictures Priyanka wrote “या देवी सर्वभूतेषु लक्ष्मी रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः With the blessings of Goddess Mahalakshmi we invite Her grace and abundance into our home. Happy Diwali.”

A day before celebrating Diwali with Nick, Priyanka also attended a celebration hosted by actor Mindy Kaling. Lilly Singh was also a part of this pre-Diwali bash.

On the professional front, Priyanka is currently working on her upcoming web series Citadel. And she will be also seen in The Matrix Resurrection with Keanu Reeves.
