Vikas Patil is an ace actor who is more active in M Town and Marathi entertainment. He was born on 24th September, 1982 and of now he is 39 years old and today celebrates his 40th birthday. He was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India but was brought up in Pune, Maharashtra thus calls the latter his hometown. He did his schooling and college from MSS High School, Pune and Fergusson College, Pune respectively. He did his graduation in Science and later headed to Mumbai to take a plunge in the acting world.

He had great passion towards acting, which made him participate in different cultural festivals and shows from his school and college days. During College, he has been the part of a few plays and dramas. Once he reached Mumbai, he got the chance to act in a Marathi TV show called Char Diwas Sasuche aired on ETV Marathi Channel followed by a small role in serial Kulvadhu aired on Zee Marathi. Then came the Star Pravah show called Swapnanchya Palikadle wherein he played a negative role. He was applauded for his performance and since then it was no looking back for the actor.

Some of his TV shows include Lek Majhi Ladki, Char Diwas Sasuche, Kulvadhu, Asambhav, Maziya Mahera, Antarpat, Mrs. Tendulkar, Swapnanchya Palikadle and Suvasini, Arundhati to name a few. He also did a couple of Marathi movies like Shentimental, Atrangi, Tuzhya Vin Marjava, Aajacha Diwas Majha, Vacation and Tukaram. He also is linked with theatres doing a few plays including Hamidabaichi Kothi, Thodasa Logic Thodasa Magic and Altun Paltun. Now, he is gearing up for the Marathi Bigg Boss 3 reality show.
