With the good buzz for the series Hostages season 1 on Hotstar Originals, the makers had planned to embark with the second one. It was an obvious decision, all thanks to the popularity the first installment has got on the digital media in all the seven languages it was released earlier in April 2020. So, as per the latest buzz, the streaming platform Hotstar Original is all set to bring back the second season as well very soon. 

The buzz is all due to the ensemble star cast and at the same time the strong content, which makes the series a worthy one to catch. The series is based on one of the popular Israeli TV series. Of late, we have seen Hotstar giving its audience some good platforms to enjoy some good shows for the audience. And Hostages is one of the series, which seemed to have been enjoyed by the Indian audience in seven different Indian languages. 

The show has Tisca Chopra, Parvin Dabas, Ronit Roy, Mohan Kapoor and Aashim Gulati in the leading roles. While the makers have already renewed for a second season, which seems to be premiering soon. The major shooting for the same is complete, which includes the ones of Ronit Roy and Tisca Chopra for Hostages 2 shoot, while the makers now claim that the work for the second season is on full swing and soon.
