DOB – 4th May 1953

Anang Desai is a senior actor who is seen both in TV and films. He was born on 4th May 1953 in Bombay and was raised at this place only and Ahmedabad. He was linked to theatre and did a couple of plays in his initial days. He then got the chance to do films doing his debut with the film Gandhi in the year 1982. He then did a couple of other films including Antaheen, The Natural World – The Man-Eaters of Kumaon, New Delhi Times, Falak (The Sky), Bharat Ek Khoj, Parinda , Parinati, Kroadh, Jurm , Aashiqui, Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda, Angaar, Junoon, Lootere, Sir, Gumrah, and Amok.

Some of his other films include Bagbhan, Raja Bhaiya, Agnipath, Yakeen, 7 1/2 Phere: More Than a Wedding, Sandwich, Uttham, Sarhad Paar, Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love, Good Boy, Bad Boy, and Ek Vivaah… Aisa Bhi. Some of his recent movies include Khichdi: The Movie, Warning, Kevi Rite Jaish, Take It Easy and Rustom as Judge. He also did a number of TV shows starting with Bharat Ek Khoj as Rajan in the year 1988. The others include Ram Mohan Roy, Tenali Rama, Humrahi, Byomkesh Bakshi as Himangshu Roy (Cameo), Akbar Birbal, Chattan, Bombay Blue, Tanha and Tejaswini to name a few.

Some of his recent TV shows include Kichdi, Pradhanmantri, Chhanchhan, Main Naa Bhoolungi, Chandrakant Chiplunkar Seedi Bambawala, Badi Door Se Aaye Hai, Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi…Let’s Go, Chidiya Ghar, Khidki as Father of Nandini Tripathi and Khichdi Returns as Tulsidas Parekh in the year 2018. His upcoming film is Little Baby. Talking about his personal life he is married to Chitra Desai. He is a pass out from National School of Drama with Anupam Kher.
