Indraneil Sengupta is a TV actor and model who hails from Kolkata. He was born on September 8, 1974. He did his schooling and college from Calcutta. His career started with the modeling field participating in Gladrags Manhunt Contest 1999 and emerged as a finalist in which John Abraham won the title. He then got the chance to do modeling with designers like Rohit Bal along with working with other choreographers Marc Robinson and Achala Sachdev. He did a number of ads for brands and Tata Indigo Marina car, Aquafina and VIP Frenchie. He then was seen in Falguni Pathak’s songs like Pal Pal Tere Yaad Sataye along with the Ghazals of Jagjit Singh.
He also was seen in the remix of Yesudas songs like Koi diya jale kahin which was sung by Asha Bhosle. He then appeared in TV show called Pyaar ke do naam…Ek Radha Ek Shyaam. He first got his debut in acting with the film Shukriya: Till Death Do Us Apart. He then got the TV shows like Pyaar Ke Do Naam: Ek Raadha and Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. He then got the TV shows including Aahat, Nach Baliye, Babul Ki Bitiya Chali Doli Saja Ke, Maayka, Tumhari Paakhi, Box Cricket League, Maharakshak: Devi, Jamai Raja, Ghulaam and Nimki Mukhiya to name a few.
