As per reports, the Meena Kumari biopic has been doing too many rounds in the media and many named were spotted for the film like Kangana Ranaut, Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan, but came out for the film is shocking and not just surprising. However, when these actresses simply turned down the offer, which made the entry of the former porn star for the film.

When the lead player of this project Karan Razdan was asked about this venture he said that he has only one courageous lady to do this film, which is none other than the former porn star called Sunny Leone. He then said that he has narrated the story to actresses like Madhuri and Vidya but they had their own reasons to deny the movie. The lady Sunny Leone then came along and said that she had heard about this movie and would go for hearing the script.

He said that she had met her at her house, had a long narration. He the said that though she is not the ideal choice for this film, yet she has remained the most enthusiastic about doing the role. Perhaps she is now looking this film to be her big chance in B Town to do some serious role otherwise all she has done was skin shows and item numbers. Later he talked about the film being offered to Vidya Balan but she did not accept the offer.
