It's Father's Day weekend, leading into Juneteenth, and there are a variety of films that feel fitting in that regard. The big release, this week, is The Flash, which is fun enough and delivers for a big-screen superhero flick. Also out is The Blackening, which delivers on the laughs as well as what it's getting at as far as Black culture is concerned. Wes Anderson's Asteroid City is another winner as well. I have reviews for all of these and more. • The Mask of Zorro Commentary - Aaron is joined by Brandon Peters, Scott Mendelson, and Mark Hofmeyer to discuss The Mask of Zorro as part of the “Superhero Summer” theme of commentaries.
   
• The Summer of '93 at 30: June 18-20, 1993 - An episode Brandon's been fearing has finally reared its head. He's a fan of Last Action Hero, and his cohosts (and largely, the world) are not. In addition, they also cover What’s Love Got To Do With It and a forgettable animated film in Once Upon A Forest.
   
• The LAMBcast: Mikey and Nicky - Aaron Neuwirth, as the champion of the film, leads the panel this week in dissecting the performances of John Cassavetes and Peter Falk.
