Silent Hill 2 Remake Steam Page Icon Changed

SteamDB noted that the icon for the upcoming Silent Hill 2 remake changed on April 19, 2024, which includes a potential new look for protagonist James Sunderland. It suggests the character model for him may be different than in earlier screenshots and trailers. [Thanks, Projekt Parasol!]

Horror Game Central’s Will also shared a comparison of the character’s possible appearances on social media.

We’ve seen a few updates on the game leading up to its eventual debut. For example, the January 2024 State of Play included a new look at the remake’s gameplay. The ESRB also shared its rating for it in early April 2024.

The Silent Hill 2 remake is in development for PS5 and PC, and Konami hasn’t released a release date yet. Official store pages for the game suggest that the game is "coming soon."
