This number takes into account sales, both domestic and international, and digital and physical versions of the game. As mentioned earlier, this is the fastest-selling title from any developer under PlayStation Studios. Other Sony studios include Naughty Dog (The Last of Us, Jak and Daxter), Santa Monica Studio (God of War), and Sucker Punch (Sly Cooper series, Infamous series).

According to reviews on Metacritic, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has a 90 metascore (based on critic reviews) and a 9.1 user score. Metacritic took 133 critic reviews and 3,345 user ratings to get these averages. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the third entry in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series of video games on PlayStation.

It’s a direct sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, released in 2018, and the follow-up, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. You get to play as both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in this one, which increases the types of moves you can perform. Enemies the duo has to face include Kraven the Hunter and the Venom symbiote.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is now available exclusively on the PS5.
