Volume 7 of the Drifters manga released in Japan on August 10, 2023. This is the first time in almost five years that a new volume of the manga appeared. Drifters is a historical action and fantasy manga written and illustrated by Hellsing author Kouta Hirano. The manga started serialization on April 30, 2009 in the Japanese manga magazine Young King OURs.

The series follows historical figure Shimazu Toyohisa after he is wounded in the Battle of Sekigahara. Toyohisa, along with other renowned historical figures and warriors, is transported to a different world inhabited by native humans, as well as a number of fantastical races, including elves, dwarves, and hobbits.

In this world, magical and dangerous creatures also exist, and they are being commanded by the organization known as “Ends.” This group is waging war against humans and “Drifters,” the displaced characters faring from earth. The native human magician group known as the Octobrist Organization is trying to gather individual Drifters to try and to save their world from the Ends.

Volume 7 of the Drifters manga is now available in Japan. The manga is being published in English by Dark Horse Comics. The company announced that an Omnibus version of the manga series will appear on January 2, 2024. An anime adaptation of the series also exists.
