Wolfenstein sequel sees players enter Nazi-controlled America

A sequel to the critically acclaimed first-person shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order was officially announced last night.

Publishers Bethesada Softworks revealed that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is slated for release worldwide on October 27th.

Developed by MachineGames, the sequel will follow BJ Blazkowicz, a member of the Resistance, enter Nazi-controlled America where he must embark on an adventure to free the world from the evil empire’s stranglehold.

Players have to recruit other Resistance leaders left and fight back against the Nazis in iconic locations such as Roswell, New Mexico, a flooded New Orleans, and a post-nuclear Manhattan.

The first screenshots were released, as shown below, as well as a special 8-minute long reveal trailer, as shown above.

It will be available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
