Y’all, I just got this letter from one of my fave actors, and I wanted you to get to read even this redacted version because I believe it might give you hope.  That your hard work might not go unnoticed. This Biz, as we all know, can be DEVastating. So read this (and thank you, writer of this note, for always being the MOST inspiring ever):

[The episode I just did of that highly-rated, long running show] was amazing.  [Golden Globe winning actor, director] directed.  I felt more appreciated as an actor on that set in the first hour than in four years [as a series regular] on [a different long running tv show].  The role was huge and very intense.  The [incredibly prolific and wildly well-respected] producer . . . called [the incredibly prolific and wildly well-respected casting director] and raved about me after the first day of shooting.  [The Golden Globe winning actor, director] took me out to dinner the first night. Then he took me out my last night and showed me footage of my big scene at the end of the episode on his laptop.  He was so excited he couldn’t wait for me to see it.  I sent a personal note thanking [the prolific and wildly well-respected producer] for calling casting.  She said she wished my character could [stay] on the show.  Soooo, yeah…it went well.
