Big Little Lies: Meryl Streep, who just earned her 21st Academy Award nomination for her sterling performance in The Post (above), will appear in the second season of HBO's Big Little Lies. She will play a concerned grandmother who arrives in town after the death of her son. The cast will again be led by Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman; Shailene Woodley and Laura Dern are also expected to reprise their roles.
