New Orleans police officer Nikia Adams called an Animal shelter to ask for help. One of her dogs had died in her backyard, and she needed help removing it. But when an animal worker arrived, the dog was found to have been starved to death…

A dog still living at Adams’ home was also found to be severely malnourished.

A vet later ruled that the first dog had died from starvation and medical neglect. So the second dog was confiscated.

Both were weighed only about half their healthy weight. The second dog also tested positive for whipworms and heartworms, and had infected gums.

Adams was subsequently charged with aggravated cruelty for the dead dog, and misdemeanor cruelty for the dog still alive. And since she’s the one to first alert animal workers to her own crimes, she’s also expected to be charged with being way too stupid to be a cop.

This is a new one. A cop who is supposed to protect society can’t even take care of her own dogs. Albeit she may be very busy at work and other things but then she she shouldn’t have dogs. She also seems to be of low intelligence. What did she think would happen when Animal Shelter workers found a dog that basically starved to death and another one that was sick and malnourished. This lady seems to be a little on the nutty side. I am going to have to invent another category for this one.
