Split (2017)

After 7 long years, I’ve came out of retirement? I can say this I did watch a lot of movies during the time spent and have a soft spot for this Movie blog.

It starts with Kevin played by actor James McAvoy, in which he has 23 known personalities from the psychiatrist point of view. I went into this with high expectations because I do love a good story about something different. Well, I did watch the movie Sybil (1976), in which she had 17 personalities. So I did have something to look forward to, I do enjoy classics! There seems to always be a underlining similarities towards the main characters having a situation from their background to make it so, they have to separate themselves from in order to protect their identity or their own individual Character towards someone close to them.

One other movie, I enjoyed this actor from was the movie “Wanted,” I liked his performance and role he played. So, for this movie, I thought the same results, he was able to switch characters perfectly from woman to man to child. The transitions were well executed and he did really well. The only this is throughout the movie, the psychiatrist knew about and didn’t seem to be able to help thoroughly. As, you can see when you watch the movie, you will learn what happens. We saw some of his characters story-line, but not as much, I wanted more in depth because we can understand more if we see the characters background.
