Netflix winter 2019 For your consideration billboards...

Once again it's that time of year to make merry and check out all the winter award consideration billboards flooding the sprawling city skyline (weather permitting).

At this year's Emmy Awards in September, Netflix took home 27 trophies out of a possible 117 nominations, which is not surprising given the sheer volume and breadth of programming on offer from the streaming giant.

Here's a look at some of the contenders this awards season, along with Netflix's original movie hopefuls, The Irishman and Marriage Story, trying to stand out in Hollywoodland's skies.
First up is this colourful consideration billboard for Ryan Murphy's debut project for Netflix, The Politician starring Ben Platt as an aspiring future leader of America, snapped beside the Sunset Strip's Chateau Marmont Hotel on November 18, 2019.
Next up is another new offering from the streaming service, this time Paul Rudd's clone comedy-drama series, Living With Yourself.
This eye-catching FYC billboard was photographed along Sunset Boulevard on November 18, 2019.
More familiar names hoping to attract attention this awards season are Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever in the rape drama mini-series, Unbelievable.
Based on a true story (and inspired by a 2105 news article), Collette and Wever play detectives who investigate a teenager who was charged with lying about being raped, to uncover the truth.

These special extension cut-out billboards for the freshman comedy series were spotted along the Sunset Strip on November 21, 2019, and above Santa Monica Boulevard the next day.
Ava DuVernay's When They See Us mini-series received sixteen Emmy nominations this year, but only took home two, including for Outstanding Casting and Lead Actor in a Limited Series, Jharrel Jerome for his stunning portrayal of one of the falsely accused and convicted men in the 1989 Central Park jogger case.
Can these consideration billboards, snapped along the Sunset Strip and Riverside Drive from November 18 to November 24, 2019, help the drama score more accolades this winter awards season?
The streaming platform was also hoping that its popular shows would still be able to turn heads this awards season, like 80s-set sci-fi horror series, Stranger Things 3.
This 'For your consideration' billboard for the show's third season was captured along the Sunset Strip on November 18, 2019.
And speaking for third seasons, and Netflix was hoping it recast historical royal drama, The Crown, would continue to dazzle viewers and critics alike.
