Find solutions in Sri Lanka power crisis without disrupting lives

In the midst of a situation where the nation is facing a looming power Crisis The Head of State met with the chiefs of Power and Energy sectors at the Presidential Secretariat on Monday (10) according to the Head of State’s Media Division in a press announcement.

Officials have stated that the main reason for the current crisis is the difficulties that are prevalent in producing electricity with Fossil Fuels and coal.

The coal reserves in Sri Lanka are adequate and maintained in good condition. If the power generated by fossil fuels sector is well managed the country will be able to survive the threat of a power outage said officials.

The Subject Ministers said that the government has taken all necessary measures to regulate the daily lives of the people in the current state of affairs in the country.

Ministers Gamini Lokuge, Udaya Gammanpila, Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal state Minister Duminda Dissanayake, Secretary to the President P. B. Jayasundera secretary for the Ministry of Finance S. R. Attygalle As along with Ministry Secretaries and the heads of Departments attended the meeting.
