The second season is moving production over to UK from New Zealand

the first eight part season September 2nd. Set thousands of years before the events of the films, it will follow a group of characters as they confront the re-emergence of evil in Middle-earth.
Morfydd Clark plays young queen Galadriel, and the second season is in works too.
