Three is a charm!
Elizabeth Smart and hubby Matthew Gilmour welcomed their third child together, they are officially a family of five. Smart announced on Instagram Monday that she had given birth to a girl, sharing a picture of their newest member who was sporting a University of Utah Health beanie.
The 31-year-old new mother wrote alongside the post, “So happy to welcome Olivia to our family!!!”
Olivia joins big sister Chloe, 3 ½ and big brother James, 19 months.
Smart and Gilmour who married in 2012 in a small intimate ceremony in Hawaii announced that they were excepting for the third time in June. The kidnap survivor and victim’s right advocate posted at the time a picture of an ultrasound, “Pretty HUGE news!! We’re expecting baby #3 in November!!” she captioned the post.

It’s been 16 years since the advocate was kidnapped from her bedroom on a summer evening. Smart endured physical, emotional and mental abuse for 9 months from her captives before being rescued.
Smart has come along way since the traumatic ordeal she endured as a child. In September she opened up to PEOPLE and said she is “grateful for the small things.”
But Smart admitted that even though she feels like “the luckiest woman in the world” for how her life has played out she can’t help but worry when it comes to her own children.

“There’s a part of me that’s always thinking, ‘Are the windows shut? Where is she at? Who is by her? Can I see her?’ I don’t want to let Chloe out of my sight,” Smart explained. “I will never regret being there for my children, watching them, making sure they’ll be okay. But I might regret not being there for them.”
