Katie Holmes, 38, sat courtside with her tween daughter Suri Cruise, 11, Saturday in New York City for the New York Knicks game. Katie’s favorite thing is to spend quality time with Suri and this past month we’ve been seeing a lot of the single mom and her mini-me together.
You could tell from their body language that the two are very close. They were very much enjoying each others company giggling together at the game, Katie had her arms wrapped around Suri and they also sat closely at looking at something on Katie’s phone.

Katie who shares daughter with megastar Tom Cruise, 55, has expressed how much Suri means to her and the importance of raising her young daughter, “My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now. It’s very important that I’m present and she has a stable, innocent childhood.”
SINCE THE DIVORCE
Holmes and Cruise divorced in 2012 and Tom hasn’t been seen with his daughter since August 2012. It is believed he has no relationship with Suri at this time. Because Katie and her daughter are no longer part of Scientology and Cruz is, he is not permitted to carry on any sort of relationship with the 11-year-old.
Earlier in the month, Katie announced the closing act at the 2017 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden. She surprised the crowd when she took the stage to announce with daughter Suri in tow. The actress proclaimed to the crowd “She’s one of our favorite performer’s and, who is it tonight?” Katie looked to Suri to answer which she announced joyfully “Taylor Swift.”
The Dawson Creek star has kept her romantic life very private since her divorce with Cruise. Rumors have been swirling for years that she has been dating actor Jamie Foxx, 50. The two always dodged answering the question and insisted they were just friends. Over the summer a picture was leaked of the two walking down the beach holding hands. Rumor is Katie had a clause in her divorce with Tom that she was not permitted to have any public relationship for five years after their divorce was finalized.
The two have since taken their relationship public.
Foxx just celebrated his 50th birthday and Katie was right by his side. It seems like Katie is finding the right balance between being a devoted mom and enjoying her next chapter in romance.
