Rachel Lindsay, 32, alum of The Bachelorette, a popular ABC reality series, recently got engaged to Bryan Abasalo. The couple is looking forward to tying the knot and starting a family soon. The engagement party was attended by numerous Bachelor Nation alums including Iggy Rodriguez, Lucas Yancey, and Dean Unglert.

Although they haven’t disclosed a date for the wedding as yet, Lindsay says that the special day should be held sometime next year. Initially, the couple had decided on a winter wedding until both mothers opposed and now they are considering a spring wedding sometime in 2018. According to Lindsay, she doesn’t necessarily want a formal wedding. She really loves the color yellow and if according to Lindsay, she’s having a spring wedding, there will be lots of yellow around. She has expressed that she wants the occasion to be laid back and wants people to feel like they could take their shoes off and dance the night away. For Lindsay, the most important thing is that her family and friends are there together having a good time.
Lindsay says that one of the most special moments of that night will be dancing the night away and celebrating her love with Abasalo. The couple is eager to start their own family and looking forward to spending Christmas in Miami.
