Shaun T, 39, and Scott Blokker welcomed the arrival of twins on Friday, Nov. 17, Shaun T declared on Instagram Monday, with a juxtaposed photo of himself and Blokker holding their infant children.
“OUR BABY BOYS have arrived!!! We are so thrilled that our precious little preemie angels took us by surprise and arrived early at 32 weeks 5 Days on 11/17/17,” the celebrity fitness expert captioned the snap. “Thanks for your love and support as they continue to grow and get stronger ❤️”
The infants are the first kiddos for Blokker and Shaun T, 39, who have wed approximately 5 years ago back in October 2012.

“Our surrogate is so cool, she’s like, ‘This is not about me. I don’t want to sit in a chair, I don’t want to be the center of attention because this is for you guys,’ ” Shaun T revealed to PEOPLE at the time.
Blokker revealed to PEOPLE that his favorite part of the baby shower was not a gift or present but rather, “It was recently the adoration that everybody has and the help for us.”
“Everybody knew our excursion and how strong they were and energized when they discovered that we were pregnant,” he proceeded. “Once in a while you become involved with life and things are insane, however, there are days like that where everyone comes and gives you adore.”
Some stats on surrogacy:
In the US alone, there is an estimated average of 9 children born every year, in each state, through a surrogate. Unfortunately, there isn’t much data that goes back before 2008 since most surrogacy pregnancies or agreements were not tracked or they are not currently shared with the public. For surrogate mothers who are below the age of 35, the success rate of a pregnancy can reach as high as sixty percent.
As mothers advance in age, the success rates of a surrogacy can decrease accordingly.
