We may have seen the love team of Ken Chan and Rita Daniela on television numerous times, but the 47th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) official movie entry Huling Ulan sa Tag-araw is their first movie team-up.

Rita is a very talented actress, and a good singer, too. I loved her since I saw her perform at our church's anniversary many years ago.
Ken Chan is lovable, too, but I have that feeling that he's still portraying his character in Destiny Rose (his 2015-2016 series on GMA-7) whenever I see him act.
The plot of Huling Ulan sa Tag-araw is the usual rich boy meets poor girl, they fall in love, relationship gets complicated because of rich boy's parents, but their love withstands the conflicts.
But the movie's trailer takes us to the scenic Pagsanjan Falls. It will be a treat to moviegoers who love the nature but can't go out of town because of the pandemic.
The cast also includes Lotlot de Leon, Kenneth Earl Medrano, Joe Vargas, John Gabriel, Bryan Benedict, Soliman Cruz, Lou Veloso and Richard Yap.
Directed by Louie Ignacio under Heaven's Best Entertainment, Huling Ulan sa Tag-araw opens December 25, 2021 along with the seven other MMFF entries.
