Sanji never formally wrapped things up with this family. There was no final battle between them like some people thought there would be. There was basically no real confrontation between them. Sanji did officially tell his dad that he doesn't consider him his dad. He did tell him that the Germa is to leave him, the north blue, and the Straw Hats alone. His siblings help Sanji and his friends escape whole Cake Island. But he didn't fight alongside them. Some people felt ripped off when it came to Sanji and his family. Like there could have been more development between them than what there was. 

I like that Oda starts this chapter off kind of addressing that. Instead of Niji handing the raid suit to Sanji directly he puts it in Luffy's pocket. Then Sanji confiscates this from Luffy and wants to get rid of it. I think its kind of funny that Luffy wants to use it for himself. I love that Luffy isn't too prideful about it either. I also think its kind of funny that Chopper wants to see it because of the science behind it. I am kind of shocked that Sanji did receive his raid suit at all.

That was basically like his siblings accepting him. It was their way of saying that we know you are just as strong as us now. We acknowledge your strength and we think you are ready to have this now. I think it was a nice gesture from them. I totally get why Sanji doesn't want to use it. I also think that it shows that his relationship with them is more complicated than it was before. Like they are slowly understanding one another. I do think that Sanji will use it in the future. I think it will come in handy someday. But I think he will only use it once Franky has made some adjustments to it.

Sanji received a major bounty boost in chapter 903. He has been waiting for this for a long time. Especially now that it is higher than Zoro's. But I truly do think that it was only raised because he is a Germa technically. I wasn't really all that impressed with the way Sanji fought at whole cake island. To me, he didn't really do anything all that impressive to get a high bounty like that. I would have preferred him to get it once he has actually done something outstanding. To me, it seemed like Oda used any excuse to raise it.

I was surprised to see Zeus. He seems to like Nami way better than Big Mom. Which is kind of surprising seeing as how he is part of her soul?! Then once you think about it Nami knows a lot more about the weather than she does. I think that makes Zeus like her more. It makes sense that Nami would have a character like Zeus under her thumb. She is going to need him. Nami needed this power boost really bad.

I like that we saw reactions from Luffy's comrades all over the world once they got the news. It was nice to see the princesses again. Now they know what we have for awhile. That Luffy has the Grand Pirate Fleet under his belt. So basically Morgan let the cat out of the bag. Everything he said in that paper has been under wraps for awhile. I am glad though because now the world takes him seriously. Before it felt like they kind of didn't just because he is from the worst generation.

Another shocker was Coby and Helmeppo. We have not seen them in a long time. I don't think we have seen them since before the time skip. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong about that. I was beyond shocked that Coby became a Captain at the Marine HQ. I am curious about his journey. Even at the War of the Best, he didn't really do anything impressive as far as physical strength goes. I would like to see what exactly made him as strong as he is now. Obviously, Coby and Helmeppo have done a lot in the 2 years that the Straw Hats were away. I like that he is still inspired by Luffy. Now he can talk about that with Rebecca and the Tontatta tribe.

I wouldn't be surprised to see people start shipping Rebecca and Coby now. Coby can even use Observation Haki now. The rockyport incident made him famous. That is something that was brought up a little way back ago but not shown at all. I would like to see that because Law became a warlord thanks to that incident. More than likely Law and Coby had a clash back then.

The Other Emperors

Chapter 903 was just one surprise after the other. If seeing Coby wasn't enough of a surprise we get to see the other three emperors. We get to see their reactions to Luffy's news. Now they are starting to take Luffy serious too! Especially now that Morgan has called Luffy the fifth emperor! His unofficial title kind of fits once you think about it. Luffy has done what no one else in the Worst Generation besides Blackbeard has done. 

He has fought an emperor and lived to tell the tale. All the other worst gen pirates who tried to do the same became subordinates of that emperor. Kaido was just totally confused as to why he was in Big Mom's territory at all. Luffy was there for two reasons: to get Sanji back and get part of the map to Raftel. If Kaido or anyone else knew Luffy had this he would have a bigger target on his back. The only one who was able to get this from Big Mom and live was Gol D. Roger. 

Blackbeard still doesn't seem to see Luffy as a threat. But the most important thing from this is Luffy and Shanks will have a reunion soon. Who knows what will happen when that moment comes. Will Shanks, have Luffy fight him? Will he impart some wisdom on Luffy? 

I truly enjoyed every moment of this chapter. It was even better than the last one. As I stated before I think every chapter from here on out will be good. I think we will finally get to see all the things we have been wanting to see for a long time. Let's be honest for most of us if we could have skipped whole cake island, dressrosa, punk hazard, and Fishman island we would have. What we really wanted to see is what we are now. 

Like the loose ends from the War of the Best, Blackbeard, Shanks, finally getting addressed. Don't get me wrong those story arcs had some good moments. But for me personally, it feels like now we are getting to the good stuff. The stuff we have been wanting to see since the time skip. I cannot wait for the next chapter.
