Exhibition celebrates Star Wars and Doctor Who

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who.

An exhibition at Moyse's Hall Museum in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, celebrates both beloved franchises with a collection of props and merchandise.

The museum said there were more than 100 props on display in what was its 12th annual sci-fi and film event.

Last summer, I attended Unofficial Galaxies, a Star Wars exhibition at Peterborough Cathedral.

Doctor Who returns for three 60th anniversary specials, starring David Tennant (Doctor Who) and Catherine Tate (Donna Noble), this November on BBC One, BBC iPlayer and Disney+ outside the UK and Ireland. Ncuti Gatwa (Barbie) takes over control of the TARDIS during the holiday season. Millie Gibson (Coronation Street) will join Gatwa aboard the TARDIS as companion Ruby Sunday.

For further information, please visit Moyse's Hall Museum website.

The exhibition opened on 20th October and is due to run until 21st January 2024.
