Even though I come from a country that does not really celebrate Halloween it would not be acceptable if I did not at least put up anything for such an iconic holiday so I decided to share Lovecraft’s lesser known poem about Halloween
The steeples are white in the wild moonlight, And the trees have a silver glare; Past the chimneys high see the vampires fly, And the harpies of upper air, That flutter and laugh and stare. It’s safe to say that poetry was not his strongest side but it still is a great poem and I really enjoyed it.
