Browsing around on steam I found and decided to download this little game.

Trap is a game where our main protagonist receives a disturbing letter from his brother and decides to go look for him at the Beryl hotel. So far only the first chapter is out and we have not been introduced to much but the things that chapter one introduced a very intriguing and creepy story which it would take you around 30 minutes to pass and they are working on the second part.

The pixel art is very beautiful and I enjoyed it a lot. The story itself has a good concept and I am looking forward to seeing how it will continue especially the part with the mental hospital room. The atmosphere is fantastic and that dark figure that pops up a few times genuinely creeped me out. I probably enjoyed the music the most.

However I do have some issues with it. If you have not played games like this a lot it can be difficult to know what you need to do and look where you need to look. There were some grammatical errors as well which I hope will get fixed.

Even though it has its errors it did manage to intrigue me to come back for the second part so I will be looking forward to it. You can find it yourself on Steam for free.
