We all face problems in our lives that require more money. Some of us work extra shifts to make ends meet, some of us try to make money another way. The girls in this show have decided to rob a grocery store to be able to pay their bills. Sisters Beth and Annie and their best friend Ruby all have challenges in their lives that need extra cash. One has to pay for a lawyer to fight for custody for her child, the other is about to lose her home because of her cheating husband, and the last has a very sick child with expensive medical bills. This trio of inseparable friends have come to the conclusion that there’s only one option left. So, armed with toy guns, they girls put on their ski masks and break the law.

Good Girls is very similar to the 2008 movie called Mad Money Starring Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, and Katie Holmes. In this movie, the trio of co-workers plan to steal money at the Federal Reserve, their place of work.
