Briana Renee has quit Little Women: LA following six seasons on the show.
This comes just a few months after Briana filed a restraining order against husband Matt Grundhoffer, with whom she shares 1-year-old son Maverick Jax, in their ongoing divorce. She also has an 8-year-old daughter, Leiana, with her ex-husband.
In a statement, Briana, 35, reveals she is leaving the show to focus on her family, health, and music career. Below is her full statement via her Instagram –
“I want to start off by saying the biggest thank you for all the unconditional love and support from my loyal loves! You have been there every step of the way, and my journey has just begun! It is true that you will not be seeing your favorite little fierce mama next season; as I have chosen to not make a return. I am embracing my new life chapter. I will continue to focus on my kids first and foremost, optimum health of mind and body, and pursuing a music career♥️ I am grateful to have been part of such a life changing experience… onward and upward! Fans of the show first noticed something was amiss on Thursday when the Lifetime network announced the show was returning for its seventh season, and Briana’s name was missing from the cast.
At the moment, it appears Lifetime has no plans to replace Briana and the show will continue with the remaining six cast members. Little Women: LA season 7 will premiere on March 21.
